2.3 We reserve the right to refuse to provide services where the waste includes hazardous or prohibited materials, where access is unsafe, where the job materially differs from the description provided at the time of booking, or where providing the services would breach any law or regulation.

3. Booking process

3.1 You may request a quotation and make a booking by contacting us by telephone or online. You must provide accurate and complete information about the location, type and approximate volume or weight of waste, as well as any access restrictions.

3.2 Any quotation we provide based on information you supply is an estimate only. The final price may vary if, upon arrival, the volume, weight, type of waste or access conditions differ from those described at the time of booking.

3.3 A booking is only confirmed when we accept your request and provide you with confirmation, which may be given verbally, by email, or via a booking reference.

3.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that someone authorised is present at the property at the agreed time to grant access, confirm the waste to be removed and approve any changes in scope or cost before work begins.

3.5 We will use reasonable efforts to attend on the agreed date and within any time window provided, but times are approximate and subject to traffic, operational and safety considerations. We do not guarantee specific arrival times unless expressly agreed in writing.

4. Access and customer responsibilities

4.1 You must ensure that we have safe, reasonable and lawful access to the property and to the waste to be removed. This includes arranging parking or permits where required and clearing routes of hazards so our team can work safely.

4.2 You are responsible for securing any necessary permissions from property owners, landlords, managing agents or local authorities for us to enter the premises and remove waste.

4.3 You must ensure that the waste presented for removal matches the description given at the time of booking and that it does not include any prohibited or hazardous materials unless previously disclosed and expressly agreed.

4.4 If access is not available, is unsafe, or if we are unable to carry out the services due to your failure to meet these responsibilities, we may cancel or postpone the visit and may charge a reasonable call-out or cancellation fee.

5. Waste types and prohibited items

5.1 Our standard rubbish clearance services are intended for general household, garden and commercial waste that is non-hazardous and can be safely handled and transported.

5.2 Hazardous waste, including but not limited to chemicals, solvents, asbestos, clinical or medical waste, pressurised containers, flammable liquids, explosives and certain electrical items, may require specialised handling and may not be accepted under our standard terms.

5.3 You must inform us in advance if any hazardous or specialist items are to be included in the waste. We reserve the right to refuse to remove such items or to charge additional fees for safe handling and lawful disposal where we are able to accept them.

5.4 If prohibited or hazardous waste is discovered after the commencement of services, we may suspend or terminate the job and charge for any work already undertaken, as well as any costs incurred in making the site safe.

6. Pricing and quotations

6.1 Our charges are usually based on the volume and type of waste collected, the weight where relevant, the labour involved, and any additional factors such as access difficulty or distance from our vehicle.

6.2 Any prices or rates published are indicative and may be varied at our discretion. A binding price is only provided once our team has assessed the waste on site and agreed the charge with you before commencing work.

6.3 Where you request additional services or where the job is larger or more complex than originally described, we may revise our quotation and agree an updated price before proceeding.

6.4 All prices quoted are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Any applicable taxes will be added to the final invoice in accordance with current law.

7. Payments and invoices

7.1 Payment is due on completion of the services, unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in advance in writing.

7.2 We accept payment by cash, debit or credit card, bank transfer or other methods as advised at the time of booking. We may require payment in full or a deposit before starting work, particularly for larger clearances or commercial contracts.

7.3 Where we issue an invoice with credit terms, you must pay the full amount by the due date shown on the invoice. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue sum at the statutory rate until payment is made in full.

7.4 If you dispute any part of an invoice, you must notify us in writing within seven days of receipt, providing full details of the dispute. You must pay any undisputed portion of the invoice by the due date.

8. Cancellations and rescheduling

8.1 You may cancel or reschedule a booking by giving us reasonable notice by telephone or email.

8.2 If you cancel more than 24 hours before the agreed arrival time, no cancellation charge will usually apply, unless we have incurred specific costs or arranged special services on your behalf.

8.3 If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival time, or if we arrive on site and are unable to carry out the work for reasons beyond our control, we may charge a reasonable cancellation or call-out fee to cover our costs.

8.4 We may cancel or reschedule a booking if circumstances beyond our control arise, including severe weather, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, safety concerns or changes in law or regulation affecting our ability to perform the services. In such cases, we will seek to agree a new appointment time with you as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Service performance and completion

9.1 Our team will use reasonable care and skill when performing the services and will take reasonable steps to avoid damage to property while carrying out waste clearance and removal.

9.2 On completion of the agreed work, we will invite you to inspect the area cleared. Any concerns about the services or the extent of the clearance should be raised at that time so that we can address them on site where possible.

9.3 Once you have confirmed that the work is complete, or once you have made payment, the job will be deemed to have been satisfactorily completed, subject to your statutory rights.

10. Liability and limits of responsibility

10.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the provision of our services.

10.3 Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from or in connection with the services, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall be limited to the total fees paid or payable by you for the services giving rise to the claim.

10.4 You are responsible for removing or securing any fragile, valuable or sentimental items from the areas where we will be working. We do not accept liability for loss of or damage to items that you have not removed or adequately protected, unless caused by our negligence.

10.5 We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage or defects to your property, structures, fixtures, fittings or belongings, nor for any damage arising from inherent weaknesses, poor installation or age-related deterioration.

11. Title to waste and environmental compliance

11.1 Once the waste has been loaded onto our vehicle and payment has been made or agreed, title to and responsibility for the waste will pass to us.

11.2 We will transport and dispose of waste in accordance with applicable UK waste legislation and environmental regulations, using appropriately licensed disposal sites and facilities.

11.3 We may separate, recycle, recover or otherwise process waste in accordance with best practice and legal requirements. You consent to us taking any such steps as we consider appropriate to comply with environmental obligations.

11.4 You must not request or encourage us to dispose of waste unlawfully. If we reasonably believe that you are seeking to evade legal waste controls or that waste is not lawfully yours to dispose of, we may refuse to carry out the services and may report the matter to the relevant authorities where appropriate.

12. Customer warranties and indemnities

12.1 You warrant that you are the owner of the waste or are authorised by the owner to arrange its removal and disposal.

12.2 You warrant that the information you provide about the waste and the property is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

12.3 You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses we suffer as a result of your breach of these warranties, including but not limited to claims that the waste did not belong to you or that it contained prohibited or hazardous items not disclosed to us.

13. Privacy and data protection

13.1 We will collect and use your personal information only for the purposes of managing bookings, providing services, processing payments and, where permitted, communicating with you about our services.

13.2 We will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation in the United Kingdom and will take reasonable steps to safeguard your information from unauthorised access or misuse.

14. Complaints

14.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, you should contact us as soon as reasonably possible, providing details of the issue and any supporting information.
